When you sign up as a member or submit a query form, TeethCloud collects basic personal data from you. This privacy statement describes the type of personal information held; why it is held; and, what is done with it.

Information collected

Depending on the nature of your status with this site (e.g., visitor, member, Thought Leader) TeethCloud collects varying degrees of information about you. This may include:

  • Name
  • Professional degrees, titles, specialties, and affiliations.
  • Email address
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Photo or images
  • Your query information (such as questions, suggestions, motivations for applying)


TeethCloud is responsible for keeping the information that we hold about you secure. We comply with data protection requirements to ensure the responsible collection, use, storage and disposal of your information. To these ends, TeethCloud complies with the most recent safeguards and regulations as articulated under the GDPR of the European Union.

Those who have access to your information are restricted to members of the TeethCloud Board. However, information which is published with your consent on the TeethCloud website is accessible by anyone visiting the site.

Using your information

Your personal information, such as name and email address, is not published and used for communication with you and may include but not be limited to one-on-one communication between the Board and you or for the purpose of anonymous, mass communication such as newsletters.

Personal information such as names, photos or images, Curriculum Vitae is published with consent.

Sharing information

Personal information is never shared with anyone outside the TeethCloud Board; neither is this information sold to outside agencies or sources.

Keeping your information safe

Your personal information is stored securely on the TeethCloud website database. Your information cannot be accessed by anyone who is not a TeethCloud Board member. They understand their legal responsibility to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures to ensure this.

We use high-quality software to record and use your personal information safely and effectively. The ISO 27000 TeethCloud hosted computer system has a secure audit trail and information is backed-up routinely.

Your recorded information is retained indefinitely or until such time as you request us to delete it.

Access to your information and other rights

You have a right to review the information that we hold about you at any time and to receive a copy upon TeethCloud’s receiving your request in writing.

Other information rights

You may at any time:

  • Correct or amend any information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Revise information we hold
  • Rescind any information provided
  • Prohibit unwanted communication, e.g. sending newsletters
